Professional development or formal in-service training for clinicians, educators, administrators, community stake holders and parents to upgrade the content knowledge and pedagogical skills is an important means of improving clinical practices, teaching and learning. GMNBS provides intensive summer institutes, follow-up group sessions, and coaching of individual teachers, parents and clinicians. The evaluations of the interventions provided includes the effects of the professional development that was offered both on instruction and on student achievement and neurobehavioral health.
