Service Description

Global Screening Comprehensive tools used by Dr. Vuai assess multiple domains of neurodevelopmental functioning. Screening tools include the following: Adaptive Behavior/ Social Emotional Assessment tools used to evaluate social-emotional functioning, adaptive behavior, attention and/or hyperactivity, and behaviors associated with autism and other developmental disorders. Cognitive Assessments used to evaluate intellectual functioning. Communication Assessments used to evaluate all aspects of expressive and receptive communication, including articulation, vocabulary, semantics, auditory processing skills, basic concepts and sign vocabulary. Motor/Sensory Includes assessment tools evaluating fine and gross motor skills, mobility, visual motor skills and sensory functions. Family Assessments used to gather information regarding the home environment and the needs of the family. Pre-Academic These tools that measure early kindergarten readiness skills, phonemic awareness and early academic skills relating to math, reading, writing and language.
